They Got Me...

So I got robbed.

They came in and took my computer monitor (22 inches) and then decided to destroy everything else. I'm not sure who or why someone would want to do this, but they did it.

I'll be honest, at first I thought the a/c had just fallen out the window...but then i realized that all the desks would not have been turned over if that happened. Then I noticed my monitor was missing.

Funny thing is, I wasn't really upset. I didn't see a real need to be. Yeah I didn't like that someone had come up in my spot and took my stuff, but I can keep it moving one way or another. Needless to say though, there is no more studio.....here.... :)

I always make a way though.

With that being said. Check out the new song I JUST finished called "Still Checkin' For Me".

It's the only way I can get it off my chest in a positive way.

Nothing Like A Water Hangover

So I'm not doing too bad with the no alcohol thing. It really wasn't that hard stopping. It wasn't like I was a die hard drinker anyways, just on the weekends. Anywho, I believe that I must pick a different venue to explore however. I missed out on kicking it with somebody yesterday...ugh...won't miss that opportunity again.

I also had a very good conversation with a very special young lady in my life. I've seen the growth in her ways for the past 4 or 5 years I'd say and it's been tremendous. I'm just glad that I can be here for her to talk to still after all this time.

I have GOT TO DO BETTER when it comes to getting my butt up for church!!! I need to start making sure that I wake up on time and then GET UP on time. At least I can say that I doubt I'll be hungover on Saturday nights. So THAT will no longer be an excuse.

I believe that my health may be getting a little bit better. From the couple of ER visits and my initial visit to the cardiologist, I don't think my heart is the issue. That's a good thing...but I still have to find out WHAT the problem is. Hopefully I'll have it taken care of very soon. Anyways, I'll keep y'all posted if y'all are concerned.

just a quick little blog of some things on my mind at the time. Might do some jump on a jet ski today...not sure yet...we'll see.

YEP YEP!

Arizona Immigration Law now coming to SC?? Oh HELL NO!

SC May Get Immigration Law Like Arizona

I want y'all to excuse me for a minute, because I have to step outside of my usual "proper" self and allow my "unproper" side to come out.

These fools done lost they motha FUCKIN minds....

So people around here stated that they didn't care about what was going on in Arizona, well now it's about to hit home. I been following this whole thing a little bit and actually read the legislature that Arizona passed pretty much from top to bottom. If this passes in South Carolina, you might as well say that the "Old South" has made it's comeback.

This law solves nothing. It only gives law enforcement (which is already worst below the mason dixon than ANYWHERE in the country) the authority to take someone aside and check their citizenship based on how they look.

Why not beef up regulation of businesses and making sure that they go through the proper channels to verify a persons legality to work. Why not beef up protection AT the border? I agree that illegal immigration is not right, but allowing racial profiling is not going to solve it. This is opening up a can of worms that people are not looking at because they are choosing to not look past their noses.

It is one thing to pass laws that help people, but when they start infringing on our rights, then there lies an issue that needs to be nipped in the bud.
Once you nullify one Amendment, then you can essentially nullify them all.

I mean, it doesn't make ANY SENSE!
How can you say, OK, you can detain any person who they suspect that are here illegally...but it can't be based on "race, color, or nationality"...

THEN WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU BASING IT ON????
Don't they do this already??

Who do people think of when they hear the words "illegal immigrants"?
You don't think about any Russians, Polish, Germans, or any of those nationalities...u think about HISPANICS...next race is HATIANS/CUBANS...

folks need to open their eyes to whats going on.

If you value your rights as an AMERICAN CITIZEN, you'll do whatever it takes to vote against this thing when it pops up.

Man oh man...

So yesterday, I had to call EMS to come pick me up and take me to the hospital. For some odd reason, my heart rate sky rocketed on me. At first, I thought I would be ok on my own. However, it didn't stop going up, so I dialed 911. I believe that it peaked maybe around 180 something while I was sitting still. Needless to say, I was scared...for my LIFE. When my hands, feet, and neck went numb, A few thoughts went through my mind. The first thought that flashed through was.."What if I don't walk out of here?"

....

like for real, i didn't think I was gonna make it. seriously. But you know, a wise dude told me one day, "The things that REALLY matter in your life, are the things you think about when you're taking your last breath."

I didn't think about anything material...my parents, my sister, those who are close to me...my relationship with God...those were the things that hit home with me...

But here I am...God provided me with a slap in the face and said WAKE UP! So there are some things in my life that I definitely have to change. First of all, no more alcohol. I'm not an every day drinker, but I'm dropping it all together. Luckily, I don't smoke anymore. I know that would have complicated my situation a lot worse. I'm also going to change my eating habits. I'm NEVER going to BURGER KING EVER AGAIN!! not EVER! I think their sweet tea had something to do with it too. This is the 2nd time I had to call EMS in less than a week after I ate there. no lie. The Doctor said no caffeine. I usually don't have caffeine like that, but once again, I WAS drinking some sweet tea from BURGER KING. runteldat

My dad told me that I needed a woman around. He said "son, God put man and woman here for specific roles. The woman is to take care of the man and the man is to provide for the woman and the family. Boy you need a woman to take care of you."
lol

He's right though...lol

But anyways, I wanted to thank GOD for letting me live a little longer. Obviously I've got some work He needs me to do, so I need to jump on it. Thanks to Aiken EMS for taking care of me on the way there. Thanks to Mr. Jackson for keeping me in good spirits. Thanks to my parents for being there as they ALWAYS are.

But anyways, I got a great concept for a song now too. You'll hear it soon.

March 1st-New ideas, New outlook, Same Mission

Ok...
So first off, I'm still want to give the people good quality music to listen to. I'm working on a few projects right now but I really feel like, its time to settle down and work on my own stuff with a select few people that I'm working with right now. Just because it will give me time to develop as a producer. As of March 20th, I'll be shutting things down in order to go ahead and move forward with the project I have in mind. Any previous obligations that I stated would be continued through this time, I'll be able to continue working on...yet the amount of time devoted to them will be decreased. I know it may cut down on my current business, yet it will help me move forward. I'm looking to the future right now, and I have to in order to become the person that I want to become. With my schedule stretching me out the way it is and the deadlines folks are setting for themselves, it's just too many conflicts.
With all the ideas that I've got in my head, I think its time to go ahead and let them out. Hopefully it'll give the audience an idea of what ,not only what I'm thinking, but also what I'm capable of doing in the studio. I'm all about quality right now, and I feel like I have a long way to go. But in order for me to give YOU the best, I have to be the best that I can be.

But in the meantime, be sure to keep a look out for Mike Diablo's United Loan commercial on Foxie 103 and Power 107 that I produced and his new single "Ain't I Cool" will be hitting the streets soon.

Make sure to check out the new hit by me, B.Moses, and Mr. Jones called "Do It To It". Here's the link where you can download it for free:

I'll make sure to put some more music up ASAP in promotion of the upcoming album "It's Bout Time".
